An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) provides authorisation to travel to and enter Australia and is electronically linked to your passport. It is for short term stays for tourism or business visitor activities such as attending a conference, making business enquiries or for contractual negotiations. You can remain in Australia for an maximum of three months on each browse through. I've used eVisas multiple times over a couple of years. Experience has been superb every time. Now and again there have been a couple of glitches (not due to evisas but external stuff like the embassy itself- and the staff at eVisa's have even been patient enough to help out with these issues. I really only have good things to say, they are professionals, totally efficient and while you generally don't need to communicate much because the guidelines and process is clear and easy - on the off chance that you do need to speak to someone, unlike many companies these days you can actually get hold of a real human to talk through any questions.
