An approved e-visa allows you to enter Ethiopia via Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
If travelers have more than one passport, they must choose just one passport to use to fill out the application form. The same passport must then be used to travel to Ethiopia. There cannot be any inconsistencies between the travel document and the information provided on the e-visa application.
On successful approval of your application, an approval letter is sent to your designated email address. You need to then take a print out of the eVisa & securely keep it in your passport.
You don’t need e-visa for transit flights. If you want to go out from the permitted transit area of the airport to visit Addis Ababa for some time, you need to get transit visa at the airport.
